Custom-made to cradle our bestselling Ludlow glasses, store the smooth Carelian Soapstone base in the freezer so it’s ready for cocktail hour. Handmade by stonecutters, this two-billion-year-old material was used to build fireplaces for its superior insulation properties – today, it makes the perfect complement to fine glassware.

Made In: Finland
Soapstone bases: Wash base in water before first use and allow to dry. Once dry, place stone base in the freezer for a few hours prior to use. Base may be stored in the freezer.
Simon Pearce glass: Dishwasher-safe, though hand washing is recommended.
Do not expose glass to extreme heat changes, such as filling with hot liquid or placing in the freezer. A shock in temperature can cause fractures.
