Jay Strongwater's Gilded Nativity a new introduction began by sculpting each figurine s fluid draping in clay, followed by forging in solid pewter with a heightened focus on engraved textures and finely detailed, raised decorations. Artisans individually polish each gilded standing mother & baby sheep figurine before burnishing with two metal patinas: first, antiqued silver for select luster highlights, and then the final gilding in antiqued 18K gold a challenging process for the master craftsmen in Rhode Island.
Dimensions: 2.75 Wide, 4 Long, 3 Tall Materials: Cast pewter with an 18K gold and light brown antique finish with high-polished areas and silver-tone highlights. Handcrafted in New York and Rhode Island.
