From the Badlands to the Prairie... Lewis & Clarke and the Rough Riders... This original design celebrates the State of North Dakota.
This EXTRA LARGE pillow is entirely HAND embroidered on light tea-colored 100% organic cotton. Amazingly it takes 2 weeks (80+ hours) with 2 artisans working on it - just to make one of these XL Pillows! It is also unique in nature since each artisan incorporates a certain flair and signature to his/her work. Accented with black velvet piping.

North Dakotan David Henderson Houston invented the Kodak camera (1887). The Dakota Dinosaur Museum in Dickinson, ND, houses the largest intact triceratops skull in the world. It weighs 1,500 pounds. The world's largest French Fry Feed is held annually in Grand Forks, ND. The world record was set in 2006 when 4,620 pounds of French Fries were consumed by approx. 10,000 people.
