This original design celebrates the State of Missouri from Elephant Rocks to Kansas City to Jefferson City to the Ozarks!
This EXTRA LARGE pillow is entirely HAND embroidered on light tea-colored 100% organic cotton. Amazingly it takes 2 weeks (80+ hours) with 2 artisans working on it - just to make one of these XL Pillows! It is also unique in nature since each artisan incorporates a certain flair and signature to his/her work. Accented with black velvet piping.

Kansas City is known for barbeque. Henry Perry started selling his smoked meats at a stand in the city in 1908. Missourians are said to consume more barbeque sauce than any other state's residents. Famous author Mark Twain (born Samuel Clemens) was raised in Missouri. His boyhood home is now a historic museum (Hannibal, MO).
