The design is silk-screened, then framed with a hand embroidered border on a 100% cotton dish towel/hand towel/guest towel/bar towel. Three stripes down both sides and hand dyed rick-rack at the top and bottom add a charming vintage touch. Delightfully presented in a fab organdy re-usable pouch!

  • Sideburns were invented by former Rhode Island Governor Ambrose Burnside.
  • The official name of the state is "State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations." It was named after the Greek Island of Rhodes.
  • RI hosted the first US open golf tournament in 1895.
  • Newport, RI's Touro Synagogue is the oldest in America, consecrated in 1763.
