For the month of January, 10% of all profits at The Lamp Stand will be donated to assist in the relief efforts from the devastating Earthquake that has hit Haiti. All donated funds will be equally split between the following three non-profit organizations who are at ground zero actively working to help those affected. Convoy of Hope is a leader in providing immediate relief in disaster situations around the world. Prior to the Earthquake, Convoy was already stationed in Haiti feeding 7,000 Haitian children each day. Currently, Convoy of Hope has set up a command center in Haiti and is bringing in large amounts of food, water, medical supplies and other supplies to begin meeting the needs of the people.
The Global Orphan Project is working directly with hundreds of orphans in Haiti and assisting orphans and families who have been affected by the Earthquake. Sadly, there will be many more children orphaned from this catastrophe and The Global Orphan Project will be there to help.
Compassion Alliance has a history of working with people in need in Haiti and is now staged to send $1,000,000 in relief supplies including water, hygiene kits, and food. This organization will be offering daily help at ground zero to anyone with needs.
